Update on theses 2 x single beds we bought back in 23rd April 2025 (had em nearly a year). One of the single beds has broken. On the right side of the bed at the top where the two bolts hold the headboard on to the frame the bracket what the two screws into inside the frame as broken. good quick delivery. packing okay, the plastic strip for the back boards broken into lots of bits, due to two back drawers section allowed to slide in box, plastic strip in-between. found it easier to pre drill draw holes as screwheads are easy to strip. anyhow still it finished up okay and looks good. The Somerset Bed frame is made from solid Brazilian pine that has been reliably sourced. The simple slatted head-end combined with the high foot-end creates a lovely-looking bed frame. It is finished in a rustic waxed colour that will complement any decor. Kiln-dried solid pine slats make for a very sturdy bed. 4FT, 4FT6, and 5FT have center support running from head to foot and also center feet.

Absolutely awful bed. I started with the headboard and didn't go any further. Dowel holes don't line up so it wasn't straight. Screw holes didn't line up so ended up splitting the wood. The timber itself is very flimsy and badly glued together. I would suggest the bed frame looked to be the same build quality and would be unlikely to hold any real weight without breaking.
