We got this to replace a chandelier lighting we inherited with the house which was too hard to clean and didn't like. This light came very well packaged, you have to assemble everything yourself, but at least we now know how to put in new lightbulbs! You will need an electrician if not capable yourself. Extremely heavy! The chain is extremely long so choosing the length for a very very tall landing like ours was easy. I searched the net for a replacement light fitting for an aging wooden unit that was now unsafe. I tried all the high profile places without success. One more general search threw up Wayfair, which I have never used before. There I found exactly what I was looking for and it happened to be in their sale. I’m careful when using new places to buy from but PayPal was available as a payment method, the deliver charge and time were excellent so I bought the fitting and booked an electrician. The package arrived on time and was exactly as described on the website and has now been fitted. My wife and are very pleased with it, we are both 88 years old and it was important that the unit looked good in our older house, it looks great.
