A really nice day bed for the price. Doesn't make any noise. Takes a standard single mattress. Comes with all the tools you need. I made a mistake with the 2 silver metal pieces in the middle...They go inside the frame, not on the outside. It was pretty easy to put together other than this!. Karen. Huntingdon, GB. This versatile wooden day bed can be used as a bed in your bedroom and also fits perfectly as a sofa in your living room.

Honestly, the worse thing I’ve had to build. None of the screws were separated or labelled, neither was the wood panels so you had to sit and measure the size difference for the screws that looked the same. When building, the small panels that go around the sides of the bed just kept falling off even though they’ve been drilled in. I couldn’t even put the screws in that attached the panels together because they kept spinning and not tightening. Would not recommend this to anyone.. Amanda. Silkstone Barnsley, GB. Es haben 3 verschiedene Personen versucht aufzubauen, keiner hat es hinbekommen- eine Sache für den Müll!!!!!. Andreas. Dätgen, DE. Sat Sep 02 2023

Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. I would return this but have invested so much time in getting it together. Would have put a 0 out of 5 if it were possible. Alan Captain. Dereham, GB. Sat Aug 10 2024

The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. The maximum load baring for the Buxton bed is 120kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress..
