It would've definitely been faster with a second person. It was packaged well. When assembled it's a little less than 4 ft by 3 ft. It's very sturdy and I'm sure it'll stand up to many years of play. The Kitty is clad in 12mm shiplap boards on a 34mm square framing with a T&G floor and OSB roof. All fixings and roof felt are provided along with assembly instructions.
