I love the set it is lovely but when I open the package in the Top one side of the chair was all scratched and damaged, which was a shame, and didn’t go together that well! but managed to eventually. Yes a lot of assembly, the table was difficult as nothing lined up!! I've been building furniture for the past 38yrs. So am able to find a way around things, but in all honesty, the majority of the public will struggle. It was difficult bending the metal into position, will it last? Heaven knows. But advert should state difficulty is assembling for those who are not quite capable in putting furniture together & there are many out there. Do like it though. For others who may be considering buying this, if you look at your standard dining chairs and shrink them by about 10% that should give you an idea of the size of the chairs. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. This set includes a free water-resistant cover but please note, this is not fully waterproof and you should still store your cushions somewhere dry during wet weather and through winter.
