I’m a little surprised to see everyone saying this is “easy to assemble”. In short, it isn’t! The screws and bits all come in the same giant pack and aren’t separated or labelled at all. Some of the screws are very similar in shape and width so I had to line them all up side by side until I knew what letter they represented. The table parts also weren’t labelled except for the legs, which makes things difficult from the get go. The legs take a lot of time to get right - I must have screwed them incorrectly twice which led to some minor damage. I ended up doing instructions 3 and 4 in reverse which solved the problem. Part 7(the extension leaf) I still have no idea how to fit. The diagram shows numerous holes in the piece that simply aren’t there - so I’m not sure if my item is faulty or not. For now, I don’t want to use the extension leaf, and don’t really ever care to ever see it again after 3 hours of assembly. Blistered hands and a lot of swearing later, it does look good and is a sturdy, stylish table. A second person to help me may have alleviated somewhat of the stress, but this was done by myself. I ordered this on the basis that it was a smaller size table that seats 6. It fits the space in my kitchen perfectly and accommodates 6 people comfortably. It is an attractive table and the chairs are comfy. The table and chairs are easy to assemble. We were missing one set of chair screws but had some that fitted. I would not recommend it to anyone with small children or messy eaters. Crumbs collect in the padding of the seats and the glass top gets covered in greasy smears. Additionally if the black paint to the underside gets scratched you are left with areas that are transparent and can see the floor. The first table was delivered with a hole in the box and there was a chip in the glass. Wayfair were excellent and sent a replacement (same delivery company) which also arrived with the box damaged!
