A single bed frame with a headboard is made of metal and uses a slat system to support your favorite mattress, without the need for box springs. It is designed for strength and style, creating a low-key appearance. 32.5CM height configuration allows you to make the most of the storage space under the bed. You will find that its 6 contact points from the mattress to the floor increase strength, stability, and horizontal support.

This bed frame was a part of a birthday present for my adult son/carer and also a thank you for looking after me so well. He was over the moon as his other bed had just about given up on him. It was fairly easy to put together (he is not very good at any form of DIY) he managed to put the bed together with just a little bit of supervision from myself. DIY was always my job but I can not manage it anymore.. Christine. Margate Kent. Tue Oct 06 2026

My son assembled the bed & said it wasn't too difficult! Ive only slept one night on it but it seems ok. I think for the money its adequate. If you want a more solid & heavier duty frame then obviously you have to pay more. But so far so good. Deborah. Bere Alston Yelverton, GB. Thu Aug 06 2026

Treat your guests, the Buxton bed has a beautifully crafted framework that conceals a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. The maximum load baring for the Buxton bed is 120kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. A really nice day bed for the price. Doesn't make any noise. Takes a standard single mattress. Comes with all the tools you need.
