Ordering was easy. Delivery came quickly. Assembly was very difficult. I couldn’t understand the instructions about which screws to use for the different steps. An impressive garden bench in a classic British design made of solid, black lacquered cast iron. A stylish lion head decorates the left and right sides of the bench. The decking is made out of twelve sturdy, mahogany-coloured hardwood boards, which are easy to maintain. Cast iron exists in various levels of quality, which is measured by the density of the processed cast iron. The lesser the density, the lighter and wobblier is the product and the easier it can break. This bench offers a level of very high density and is therefore very sturdy and robust. The cast iron can be re-painted from time to time with metal paint. The wood should be treated with a commercially available coating, depending on the use and site of installation. The bench will be delivered in a carton and needs to be assembled. All fittings and instructions are included in the delivery and assembly will only take a couple of minutes.

The rectangular dining table measures 145x80cm and has a tempered glass top. The PE resin rattan is UV resistant and weather resistant so it can be left outdoors all year round. It's low maintenance, needing only a wipe down with a damp, soft brush or cloth every now and then to keep it looking brand new. The rattan has been hand woven over a light metal frame making it lightweight and easy to move around. The metal feet are strong, durable and made for leaving outdoors all year round. The natural cushions are 5cm thick on the seat which provides comfortable support for you and your guests. The cushions are UV resistant so the colour won't fade. They are splash proof so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off. However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them.
