With an enclosed area of 4' x 4' plus the small veranda it is an ideal first playhouse. It is tested to EN71 the European safety standard for toys. The timber is all high grade, FSC certified and supplied in a honey brown timber basecoat ready for you to apply your own top coat; once you've agreed on a colour! The Kitty is clad in 12mm shiplap boards on a 34mm square framing with a T&G floor and OSB roof. All fixings and roof felt are provided along with assembly instructions. Dimensions shown are for the exterior wall of the building. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy)

This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. Pros nice height, stable base, real woodstrong construction, removable basket liner pillows Cons Can be a bit wobbly with multiple large cats - though they have tried 2 in a single basket with no problems. I bought this cat house for my own 4 cats, due to the cold and rainy weather over the coming months.
