It sits quite happily in its appointed place and looks forward to visits from the turquoise pigeon. Strange colour, the pigeon, that is, but they seem to get on. I had a wonderful trip to Orkney where I collected some sand and shells on the beautiful beaches. I wanted something special to display them in. I wanted a rustic looking wood and also a shape that reflected the sea. So when I saw this item I thought it was perfect.
