Nieten bei Jeanshosen) haben wir ihn mit lindgrünen Sitzkissen ergänzt.. Martina. München. Fri Sep 06 2019

Black Dining Chair

A simple low armchair in a classic Chinese style. This type of chair developed from the earlier 'yoke-back' or 'official's hat' chair, the main difference being that its arms and top rail do not protrude beyond the chair's stiles and posts. As would most of the chairs produced during the Ming period, our armchair has a rattan seat and a footrest for comfort. It features a curved backrest decorated with a lovely carved motif and carved spandrels at the corners of the posts and top rail. These low armchairs look wonderful in a living room or study, or - as the Chinese would often have done - place a pair of them in the hall or other reception room. Part of our Hanzhou collection, handcrafted from reclaimed elmwood.

The Baumgarten upholstered dining chair brings tailored comfort to everyday meals and special gatherings alike. Available in an array of colors, patterns, and upholstery options, it’s easy to customize your space to suit your aesthetic. We love that it transitions seamlessly from casual breakfasts to elegant dinner parties.
