Well made and feels quite substantial (mine does not smell either). I am a very hot sleeper and imagine that I will actually be able to use this for a lot of the entire year. Beautiful throw! Exactly what I wanted. It's heavy chunky knit. It's easily clicked and pull on, thanks to my cat, but it's easily fixable but putting it back to opposite direction, what I'm doing twice of day. Next day delivery, but in my case it was 3 days because by some reason it wasn't ordered to my registered address here but different address on PayPal, which I didn't noticed so I had to call Wayfair and they updated address for me..
