Another open-box win. Fairly straightforward to assemble - many reviews comment that it needs two people but I didn’t have any trouble on my own (maybe I just have really long arms). The only tricky part for me when installing the base , I should have left the screws attaching the sides just a little looser so it was easier to slot it in. Absolutely furious with Wayfair. You’d think that for £88 you’d get decent quality but think again. The item arrived damaged, with chips and scratches all over the wood. The box was torn and looked like it had been thrown around no surprise, since they ship with Evri (the worst courier I’ve ever dealt with). The assembly instructions were a complete mess tools and parts incorrectly labeled, and over 100 pieces to sort through. It took my partner and me six hours to figure it out ourselves. Total nightmare. The product looks second-hand scuffed, poorly packed, and absolutely not what I expected from a brand-new item. Yes, I could return it, but who has time to repack and wait again, just for another likely damaged delivery? I’m so disappointed. There were no reviews at the time or I never would’ve ordered.
