Very sturdy gate, good hardware for mounting to the door jams, the cat doors is very convenient and the dogs are too big to get through it. It hasn't been mounted yet because I don't have a saw to cut the connecting boards, I mis-measured the sides of the entryway so there has to be about a 4 inch gap board inserted. Electro-galvanized for added rust resistance and powder-coated black, the finish must be inspected, and any chips touched up. The galvanizing is not a 100% rustproof guarantee. Like any outdoor metal product, it may need to be painted every couple of years to ensure a long life. Moving parts will need to be touched up regularly. Fittings supplied can be fixed to brick walls, metal, or timber posts. Comes with angle brackets, bolts, and a wall-mounted pad-lockable catch. No screws included. Nuts and bolts must be painted after fitting to prevent the onset of rust and made from solid metal frames 25mm x 8mm and infill bars 10mm and 6mm in diameter. Nice design, reasonably strong, well made and appears well protected from the elements on the whole. Strange that some bolts and washers aren't black like the rest of the fittings. Instructions were pretty poor and unclear, with low quality photos.
