Well, this is a very quirky light. It is a bit time consuming to put together but not difficult. It does not come with any tools so you will need an adjustable wrench or open end. The directions say it is easier with two people, but I was able to complete it by myself. The inside box frame calls for installing anchors around the main light box legs, but I opted not to install them because I did not want the damage to my ceiling for when I change out the light, and it is fine without them. One thing I dont care for the view of the light from the side reveals a very utilitarian metal box almost like a commercial fixture or bath fan. It’s not a flat circle. Therefore, in my opinion, this light is not suitable for a formal or high design area. Better for a child’s bedroom, dorm or laundry room. Remote does not come with a wall mount holder, but as long as you realize what you are getting, its a good quality light. Choices are very bright or medium bright and warm or cool. Arrived very quickly, all components included including a couple of spares! Easy to follow instructions to assemble and quite an easy process. The remote control pairs with the unit very easily and the fitting fits flush to the ceiling and is easy to fit. Once installed there are a number of options with the white light being very bright but can be dimmed or colour change by remote, there is also a very effective night light feature which is very effective.
