Another open-box win. Fairly straightforward to assemble - many reviews comment that it needs two people but I didn’t have any trouble on my own (maybe I just have really long arms). The only tricky part for me when installing the base , I should have left the screws attaching the sides just a little looser so it was easier to slot it in. Easy to assemble. I'm impressed how sturdy it is for the money. Hopefully the pu leather will last. Unfortunately it didn't arrive in estimated time, but i believe it's down to curriers. I love the way it looks- exactly what I had in mine for this area in my dining room. Also the instructions say it holds up to 300 lbs which is more than it lists online, which is good. I found two drawbacks, one being that the arm holes were really hard to shove in all the way (you just put glue and shove them in) and so a little bit of the unpainted part sticks out and they don’t feel super secure. Also, when I was building it, I ended up with two extra screws and washers. The directions were sort of unclear where they are supposed to go, but it seems sturdy enough. For the money I thought this bench chair was great value. You can get better quality but you would need to spend a lot more money. I use mine as a hall bench and it looks good and is comfortable.
