Yes a lot of assembly, the table was difficult as nothing lined up!! I've been building furniture for the past 38yrs. So am able to find a way around things, but in all honesty, the majority of the public will struggle. It was difficult bending the metal into position, will it last? Heaven knows. But advert should state difficulty is assembling for those who are not quite capable in putting furniture together & there are many out there. Do like it though. Gorgeous garden furniture which is equally nice as indoor furniture. Clear instructions, easy to put together. It states you need 23 people to put together but my daughter did this on her own and did a superb job! I then made some cushion covers, added matching cushions with table cloth and place mats, I did a superb job considering I’m in my 80’s!
