This is surprisingly good for the price. Sturdy desk, good design, high quality surface finish even though it's fake wood, easy assembly. I was worried about hitting my shins on the shelf below the desk surface, but the desk has enough depth for that not to be much of a problem. The only somewhat unfortunate feature that I found is that the shelf happens to be at a height where it covers up wall sockets that at the typical UK height. Have given this review 5 stars even though the desk isn’t quite finished. It’s certainly a two person job, well for a couple in their 80s. it is. Found the instructions excellent, easy to follow. One of the little plugs short but found an alternative. Doesn’t look very easy to get in touch with customer services for English customers if you need to. It’s a nice desk and very solid.
