A nice bed, but took me 4 hours to assemble it. Got two bars the wrong way around - there was no early alert about that feature and it is only at the end when I discovered it - it still works though, but without the mattress bar. Would not buy again. The ottoman frame itself is not made very well it just doesn't fit well in the bed. Then there were issues with the suspension units both of which do not compress. Fortunately i only need the storage underneath for occasional use. If it was not for the weight and hassle of returning (as would need to dismantle it completely) I would have returned it. Gorgeous looking bed - really plush! Admittedly, it didn't take 2 people 1.5 hrs as per the instructions, it took 3 people 3 hrs. This was mainly due to us being unclear on putting the frame together and doing it wrong initially. The bed is lovely once assembled and looks very well in the room. However, when I was putting it together, discovered that there was a significant piece missing (a corner bracket which holds the the bed together.) I contacted Customer service who said they would put me in touch with the manufacturer which could take up to 48 hours. I went to my local Woodies and managed to find a piece that would work as a substitute. By the time I received an email from the manufacturer, I had completed assembling the bed the previous day.
