This is super pretty in person! I’ve given four stars as it’s not the most durable and it has various scratchesmarks. Reviews are right in saying that it’s very flimsy and will get small cracks if you hold it from the sides SO BE CAREFUL HANDLING! I’m not sure if this happens with all orders but many reviews including my product has arrived with many black marks that I cannot remove despite cleaning it twice. And yes it did come in a box of newspaper for me too so I would be wary that it may come damaged. Still love it (not so much for the price) and does look great in my bedroom!. Emily. London. We got this to replace a chandelier lighting we inherited with the house which was too hard to clean and didn't like. This light came very well packaged, you have to assemble everything yourself, but at least we now know how to put in new lightbulbs! You will need an electrician if not capable yourself. Extremely heavy! The chain is extremely long so choosing the length for a very very tall landing like ours was easy. White/Blue

The Signature Blue and White Octopus range is produced by a small family run business located in the Almeria region of southern Spain. Over the generations, they have developed a very specific and stylish way of making their tabletop ceramics. The Signature piece is first dipped in a white base clay paint. The artist will draw the design by carving into the white coating and into the clay, leaving an indented imprint of the design. Individually signed by the artist, each piece is hand-painted with rich and contrasting colours, glazed and fired in the kiln.
