Good shelves for moderate weighted items. Easy to assemble & used for a number of books, plants, etc. Regarding a few negative comments about these from others, there is a step of about 5-6mm between the base & the sides but this is to facilitate space for the hanging fixtures attached to the end panels. It is barely noticeable when the shelves are hung. The colour is a very dark grey. Don't expect a mid or silver grey, they are dark!
