The Haefner secretary desk with hutch is a practical and particularly space-saving workspace. With its shallow depth, it ensures the best use of space, e.g. in a corridor. The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the Haefner.

Really like this desk. It does indeed take 2 people and a few hours to assemble, but it is cleverly designed to fit in a small space. If possible it'd be rated 4.5 because additional materials to bracket it to the wall are not included. I bought this item for my home office and was not disappointed. It is roomy and can store big files. Shelves are sturdy and you can load heavy books on them. But you need to ask someone professional to assemble this cabinet as if you never did it before you would not manage to assemble it properly even with the scheme. I am so disappointed with this product. My husband and I have so far, between us, spent over 10 hours trying to build this unit. We are both skilled DIYers and have built many units over the years. It's like a meccano set. Over 360 tiny screws to line up into even smaller holes. None of the holes line up...so I've not been able to put the base in place. I was so looking forward to having this unit in my studio....I have now fallen out of love with it. Please think twice about purchasing this...unless you are happy with a several day build only for it not to fit properly together. Considering the money I paid for it I am utterly disappointed..
