The posts were very good. However, the plastic balls on top could have been of better quality. One of them was bent, and I only noticed it after securing the post. Overall, they are good products. Had a difficult job finding this size for our opening but we found this one :) Gate is solid and looks as pic dies. My husband’s quite handy & was able to fit this ok ..took him around 45 mins. Overall, very impressive product for the money. A little fiddly to put together but with a little patience and alignment this fencing is strong and sturdy. The metal spear fleur-de-lys top garden railing panel is heavy-duty and high-quality fencing. Fits a total post-to-post gap of 1830mm, we already account for the hinge gaps required. The physical width is 1810mm. The height to the top of the spear finial is 490mm. The frame height is 362mm. Electro-galvanized for added rust resistance and powder-coated black, the finish must be inspected, and any chips touched up. The galvanizing is not a 100% rustproof guarantee. Like any outdoor metal product, it may need to be painted every couple of years to ensure a long life. Fittings supplied can be used to fix brick piers, and metal or wooden posts. Comes with angle brackets and bolts, but no screws. Nuts and bolts must be painted after fitting to prevent the onset of rust. Made from solid metal frames 25mm x 10mm and infill bars 12mm diameter. Search Wayfair for optional Lepine 50mm square x 500mm high bolt-down metal posts available to purchase.
