The cushions are splash resistant so if you spill a drink on the cushion you can firmly pat the underside of the cushion to encourage the droplets to roll off and avoid them soaking in. Each piece of the modular rattan sofa can be moved around to suit you, there are lots of options to suit the occasion, whether you want to stretch out and sunbathe or have lots of seating for friends and family for a barbecue. The clips included hold the pieces together so they don't slide apart. This modular garden sofa requires assembly with detailed easy-to-follow instructions included. It's low maintenance, needing only a wipe down with a damp, soft brush or cloth every now and then to keep it looking brand new. The rattan has been hand woven over a light metal frame making it lightweight and easy to move around. The metal feet are strong, durable and made for leaving outdoors all year round. The natural cushions are 5cm thick on the seat which provides comfortable support for you and your guests. The cushions are UV resistant so the colour won't fade. They are splash proof so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off. However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. The PE rattan is stylishly woven over sturdy but lightweight steel frame. The polywood tabletop has a wood-grain effect, is sturdy and durable but lightweight and easy to keep clean. All the cushions are deep-filled - 8cm thick for the seat cushions and 6cm for the back cushions - so you can hang out in style and comfort! The PE rattan, polywood and the cushions are all UV resistant so shouldn't fade. The frames are weather resistant and the cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. This set includes a free water-resistant cover but please note, this is not fully waterproof and you should still store your cushions somewhere dry during wet weather and through winter. The back cushions are shorter than they appear in the image so you can end up with the hard back coming in to contact with your back. Other than that, comfortable and practical for a family with children to be able to adjust the height of the table. Would take a lifetime to build if you use the tools provided but I guess that’s the same with every piece of flat pack. I was also supplied with two of the same arm rest pieces and not a left/right but quick to respond with support. The furniture is lovely and very easy to put together. The sofas did need two people though. The cushions are thicker than most I tried. The pieces are not heavy so will need either taken in or weighted in strong winds like I get where I live although for most in a sheltered garden this won't be an issue. Unfortunately a few of the pieces arrived broken and while I have put them together they are structurally weak at the broken bits. I await feedback from Wayfair as to what they suggest. This set is no longer available so I'd rather keep the set and dump the broken piece with a proportional refund for the broken piece. I really am pleased with the set though other than the fact some bits were broken but that's the courier's fault and not a reflection of the items themselves as they are plastic and I live very far away (lorry and boat journey!).
