Garden Pond Sitters

2 Piece Pixie Sitting Down Outdoor Garden Statue Set! Bring some wonder into your home with this fantastic pixie by Anthony Fisher. What are Pixies? Pixies are mythical creatures of folklore, considered to particularly concentrated in the high moorland areas around Devon and Cornwall, suggesting some Celtic origin for the belief and name. Akin to the Irish and Scottish Aos Sí, pixies are believed to inhabit ancient underground ancestor sites such as stone circles, barrows, dolmens, ringfort or menhirs. In traditional regional lore, pixies are generally benign, mischievous, short of stature and attractively childlike; they are fond of dancing, gather outdoors in huge numbers to dance or sometimes wrestle, through the night. In modern times they are usually depicted with pointed ears, and often wearing a green outfit and pointed hat, although traditional stories describe them wearing dirty ragged bundles of rags which they happy discard for gifts of new clothes. Sometimes their eyes are described as being pointed upwards at the temple ends. These, however, are Victorian era conventions and not part of the older mythology.

This fountain creates a fun and stylish focal point in your garden or courtyard with this extra-large otter family water feature. It features four otters resting amongst the tree stump and rocks, watching as the water cascades down. This water feature is designed to look realistic, but its polyresin construction makes it more durable and lightweight than real stone and tree stumps. The water feature is self-contained, making it great for those without a mains water supply through their garden or courtyard. Simply fill the basin with water and the hidden pump will recycle it continually. The pump carries the water up to the top and then it cascades back down into the basin in a continuous cycle. Constructed from a durable yet lightweight polyresin to help prevent frost damage and cracking.
