I have installed it in my yard yet, but I like the heft of the pole and support and the ability to place the stake far enough into the ground to allow mowing over it. I don’t know how well the plastic/red cover will last. I will probably use something like an upside-down tuna can to cover it during the winter. I also appreciate the ability to change the height of the clothesline making it accessible for a variety of people and conditions. I will take the pole off and store it in the garage when not in use. This product is a fantastic invention. It is a super space saving item For your garden and can be mounted on a wall or fence. Pull the line out and attach it at the other and when you are finished just unclip and let the washing line retract back into the housing unit. I ordered 2 of these. At first only 1 turned up but Wayfair rectified that without any hassle. The second item duly turned up but it was faulty.
