I purchased this little table for my daughter's apartment. We like the table a lot. She could have chosen a bigger one, this is still quite small. But, we measured and she chose this size. The stone top is much nicer than a laminated top. The pedestal is plastic, but you cannot tell. The top is not attached with anything but double sided tape. So you have to be careful not to put all of your weight on it - any round table is about the same. I just wish there was a way of attaching it. Screws might splinter the top, so we decided against that. She has had the table for a few months now and it is just as shiny as when she got it. She is careful only to wipe it with soap and water as to not dull the marble look. It is an okay size for one person. I think a bigger one is necessary for two people to each comfortably. However, two or three can sit around with drinks and snack. It doesn't make a good dining table for more than two small people, at most. But we are happy with the purchase.. Mrs. B. Riverside, CA. Despite listing special instructions to deliver to my garden side as I have bi fold doors and would be able to get it in easier, they still came to my front door and was abit put out when I asked them to deliver to my garden side, when they got to my bi fold doors they put the bottom of my package in the door upright on the floor and then tipped it over despite it saying all over it fragile glass and do not drop etc thankfully there was no damage when I unpacked it all because it was packed really well with protective cover but I still think it should have been handled with more care..
