i have purchased all my induction hob pans from wayfair. I liked the colour of the berlinger collection. They look nice and stylish, they are non stick. I don’t think they are gonna last a long time. But they do the job thus far.. Aisha Sadiq. Teeside. Mon Feb 06 2023

This Griddle is superb. I make lots of griddle scones, & have previously struggled to find a griddle which heats evenly on my ceramic hob. Within an hour of it's arrival I'd made some Welsh Cakes, & they cooked perfectly. You need to do a few test bakes first, to ensure the temperature is correct - I found it kept it's heat even at a very low temperature, which is good. I only lightly greased it with sunflower oil for the first batch of baking, after that it didn't need greasing. The handles stay cool whilst using the hob, & its very easy to clean. Plus, it looks good. And worth every £.. Karen. Nottingham, GB. Wed Feb 28 2018

As cast iron can reach high heat on a low to medium setting, you can seal your food quickly and lock in the moisture, nutrients, and flavors, producing succulent tasty meals. It is a very healthy way of cooking too as the cooking fat drains away and collects below the ribs. The helper handle sets this Square Grillit® apart from others, for extra ease of use and stability when lifting a full pan. The grill is coated with Le Creuset’s specialist finish. Durable and easy to clean, enamel interior has been specially designed to protect the pan (no seasoning is required) and is ideal for searing and grilling foods such as meat, fish, and vegetables. Over time, it develops a natural patina that is ideal for searing and frying. The Square Grillit® is suitable for use on all hob types, including induction, in the oven, under the grill, and on the barbecue, and is protected by a Lifetime Guarantee for total peace of mind. Only low to medium heat is required when cooking and will achieve the high surface heat required for searing.

This is perhaps my most favorite thing to use in the kitchen at the moment! I got this (and 2 other Le Creuset items - thanks to the extra discount at Wayfair!) 4 days ago, and since then have made the perfect steak (2 inch filet mignon), grilled fish and grilled vegetables while staying indoors, without being afraid to go outside the house to grill and without the fuss of charcoal grilling!!. The non-stick nature of the griddle pan means that you do not need to add any cooking oil to the pan, meaning healthier meals for the whole family.

The softtex handle with ergonomic, phenolic design stays cool to touch for a comfortable grip.

First time I used the pan it discoloured around the edges. The second time the food stuck and made it fall apart. Supposedly stronger than standard coatings. I don't think so. Completely useless. Tower then won't replace it if bought from another seller. Insisted although it was faulty it was the sellers responsibility. What is the point of registering it for an extended warranty.. Dave-t. STAUB cast iron square grill pan. The ridges on the base of the rectangular Staub griddle pan create an authentic grill effect and keep food succulent and tasting delicious as food only makes partial contact with the base. Instead of being reabsorbed by the food, excess fat and fluid run down into these ridges. The enameled cast iron heats up quickly and distributes heat steadily and evenly across the base so that food is cooked gently after being browned, retaining its nutritional value and flavor. The two narrow handles on either side make the pot easy to move and take up little space on the hob, and since the pan can also be used in a hot oven, you have space for even more food. The pan is also suitable for all heat sources and gives excellent results when used with induction hobs as well. Cast iron has long been considered one of the most reliable materials for roasting and cooking. Flavour intensifies as cooking progresses and dishes stay warm for a long time thanks to its excellent heat-retaining properties. With its clean design, the pan also looks at home in traditional and modern kitchens. The Staub griddle pan will inspire you to experiment with new recipes over and over again. Made by STAUB in France.
