This mattress is amazing. It arrived in a box as stated and I opened it and put it on the base as suggested. It was vacuum sealed which made it easy enough for one person to get out. The mattress came with its own tool to cut the plastic off. As I got halfway through cutting the plastic the mattress sprung to life. Over the course of the next few hours it grew until it was 30cm deep. The quality of the mattress is excellent. Very good value for money. I cannot fault this mattress at all. Very comfy, though I had tried out the similar 3000 spring version in a showroom yet came onto Wayfair for the good price. Noticeably firmer than my previous mattress, but has a comfy top and keeps warmer sleepers cool. Requires a thick threaded sheet to cover, as else the tencel top is visible through the sheet.
