Well, this sofa has truly exceeded my expectations! Having just moved to a new property I set my heart on a Corner sofa settee from DFS for our 2nd lounge/ occasional overnight guest bed….but sadly 8cm too small to fit up my stairs. I found this sofa which was able to fit through our tricky access. My husband was so impressed to build it “Plastic covers over the threads on the legs, so they don’t get damaged”….if that floats your boat! Love how the sofa has secret compartments under the sofa which all the attachments arrived in…nice and handy to store valuable jewellery when on holiday perhaps? Initially I was worried about the Ivory colour…but it’s a perfect cream. Very comfortable…easily fit 5! Lovely fabric…I’ve saved £1,500 buying this instead…absolute bargain and worth every penny! Cracking bit of kit, does exactly what it says on the tin. Really impressed with this sofa bed. Bought it as a compact option for a spare space, and it’s turned out to be a bit of a hidden gem. The click-clack mechanism is smooth and straightforward — no faffing about trying to wrestle it into position. One minute it’s a tidy sofa, next minute it’s a proper bed ready for guests. Ideal for those “oh… you’re staying over?” moments. Comfort-wise, it punches above its weight. The high-density foam gives it decent support whether you’re sat watching telly or stretched out for the night. The adjustable back is a nice touch too — handy for finding that sweet spot when you just want to kick back. Build quality feels solid — the metal frame and wooden legs give it a sturdy feel without being bulky, and it looks smart enough to sit in any room without shouting for attention. Ok. First of all - it’s incredibly easy to unbox and get in place. The pieces are much lighter once they have inflated however this is also a drawback because the side pieces separate from the middle piece too easily. I have purchased some heavy duty Velcro tape to try and keep them from migrating apart. The rear of the seat area is firm and comfortable but the edges are too soft. If you sit at the edge of the seat you sink too low and feel like you might topple off. If you have the sofa set up the way it is in my photo and try to lie long ways, you sink into the dip between the side and middle piece. The middle piece is not as firm as the side pieces. The cylinder pieces that Velcro on and prop up the back pieces aren’t really that great. I found if you want to lie down on the couch it’s better to remove them and put the back cushions where they should sit to give you more room to get comfy on the seat. The material is so soft and looks great. The a a lovely colour and it really feels comfy. It’s just so annoying that you can’t get the side pieces to attach to the middle to stop migration. It is a very budget-friendly option for such a big sofa, but it has its drawbacks. I am glad I purchased it, however I paid for 5 years insurance on it and I doubt I’ll keep it for that long.. Excellent service overall. The courier arrived promptly, communicated well, and handled the delivery with care. However, due to its weight and structure, I don’t deem it to be foldable in a flat, so buyers should be aware of this when planning placement or storage. Despite this, the delivery experience and product quality were both impressive. I’m disappointed that the mattress didn’t come with a cover, as this would minimise the risk of damage and stains.. We were looking for ages for a sofa bed that fit our space, wasn't too bulky to bring up the stairs to our flat but also didn't break the bank.
