I bought a Tutti Bambini play mat and overall I’d say it’s a really solid choice, especially if you want something that looks nice in your home as well as being practical for a baby. The first thing I noticed was the quality. It feels well-made and has a decent amount of cushioning, which is great for tummy time and when babies start rolling and crawling. It’s comfortable enough that I can sit on it with my baby without feeling the hard floor underneath, which makes a big difference during longer play sessions. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to clean. The surface is wipeable, so any spills, milk, or mess can be sorted in seconds. That alone makes it much more convenient than fabric mats, which tend to absorb everything and need frequent washing. I also really like the design. Unlike a lot of baby products, it doesn’t look overly bright or plastic-y. The neutral, modern patterns mean it blends in well with the rest of the room, and in some cases it can even replace a rug. All children are sure to love playing in this super playhouse and it also looks great in the garden too. The Kitty has been a favourite for many years and it's not hard to see why. With an enclosed area of 4' x 4' plus the small veranda it is an ideal first playhouse. It is tested to EN71 the European safety standard for toys. The timber is all high grade, FSC certified and supplied in a honey brown timber basecoat ready for you to apply your own top coat; once you've agreed on a colour! The Kitty is clad in 12mm shiplap boards on a 34mm square framing with a T&G floor and OSB roof. All fixings and roof felt are provided along with assembly instructions. Dimensions shown are for the exterior wall of the building. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy)
