Fabulous, hard wearing natural rug. Not soft to walk on, however, it is actually quite rough under foot but we use it in a high traffic area which is practical and looks good in the room. The perfect anchor for a breezy seating group or dining room ensemble, this understated sisal area rug lends a touch of simple sophistication to any space. Let it be the foundation for a glass-topped coffee table in the living room, then outfit the ensemble with clean-lined linen sofas, striped armchairs, and weathered chests to round out your aesthetic in style. For an added dash of nautical appeal, top off your tabletops with weathered buoy accents and muted floral bouquets, then add striped Fouta blankets and sail flag-inspired throw pillows around the seating group for a dash of marina-worthy flair. If you're outfitting your dining room, simply set this rug under a weathered table, then arrange burlap runners and navy blue placemats to complement the neutral maize and linen tones. For a final finishing touch, try hanging down a trio of Mason jar-inspired pendants for vintage charm, then arrange rope-wrapped hurricanes and candle holders for a flickering and fashionable centrepiece.

Sisal is known for its strong, durable, and hardwearing properties, making our Sisal rugs the ideal rug to put in any high-traffic areas such as your hallway, living room, and kitchen. With a woven construction and classic border in a complementary colour, this Sisal rug will add style and comfort to any area of your home. Choose from a range of four colours. Due to the latex backing, these rugs don’t need any underlay added. Regular vacuuming with a strong brush suction is all that is needed for daily care of sisal and seagrass carpets. The beater-type cleaner is not as effective due to the weave. The strong suction of the vacuum pulls out the fine dirt which has accumulated between the fibers. Sisal is super absorbent and will hold onto liquids. If a wet sisal rug doesn't dry completely, it can develop mold and mildew so it's important to use as little water as possible when cleaning. If your sisal rug does end up getting wet, allow it to dry completely before placing it back on the floor. How to dry clean your sisal rug 1. Begin by sprinkling baking soda or corn flour on top of the rug. 2. Leave the powder to sit on the rug for about one hour in order to absorb all the dirt.3.Shake the rug to remove excess powder. 4. Afterwards, use the upholstery brush to vacuum the rug.

More than anything else, area rugs are art for your floors: They create the mood of your decor, guide the layout of your furniture, and establish a colour scheme to follow (or rebel against). A new rug can, and will, dramatically change a room – the fun part is picking the one you love! This one for example: is handwoven in a geometric pattern in a beige and yellow colour palette. It is crafted from jute and cotton. To clean this piece, we recommend professional cleaning when needed.

Great quality rug. Came rolled up which kept it in good condition however I did have to Hoover and steam it to get some creases out. It didn’t take long for it to lie flat though. One downside is that it is quite slippy on hard floor. Not bad for the price. Tobias. Walesby, GB. Sat Jul 18 2026
