The kettle looks good and is a nice size, not too bulky and light. I wanted a stainless steel kettle, which this is (only the lid is mostly plastic). I like the shape and the elegant comfortable handle. Performance is good. I had this kettle before. I'd like a push button for the lid but it is manual. I think all in all, the 'value for money' ratio is very good. The reason I am giving it four stars is because I still get a plastic taste from the lid after a few weeks. I remember that from before and it will most likely fade as it did with my previous one. I also think the anti-scale filter on the nozzle is a bit fiddly to get out and in.. This isn’t so much a review of the item but of the response from Wayfair “customer services” when I reported to them that the vacuum seal on the thermal coffee pot I bought had failed after using it a couple of times a week for just over 2 months. These things happen, sometimes goods are faulty and don’t last as long as they should. Wayfair’s response however was that the item had been sold with no commercial warranty and as it had lasted longer than their 30 day returns window, they were not obliged to refund or replace or help in any way whatsoever. I’m sure this information is all there somewhere on their website t’s & c’s but lesson learned.
