Vintage

I had a few issues with the delivery of the unit with 2 out of 3 packages arriving within 3 days with the 3rd just appearing to move constantly further back. I contacted Wayfair by WhatsApp and the final package was delivered after they intervened with the courier (the courier's customer service was one of the worst I've experienced, don't get me started, no help, all automated 'computer says no' type responses, not their problem..) that same day on the weekend. The customer service received from Wayfair to resolve this was excellent. I rate their response highly. They listened, replied in a fashion I appreciated and contacted the courier and resolved delivery that same as day. Well done. Really. Once I had the three separate packages. The instructions included to assemble were very clear (if you follow and look at the pictures carefully) and the finished product looks great. {Note: It does take some time to assemble and an electronic screwdriver wouldn't go amiss as there are many fixings to make this surprisingly sturdy solid product.} I thought this was to be real wood, but isn't being a combination of MDF or similar but shows good quality and is weighty! I'd recommend this product as it has the recycled look and the overprint details including fake screws gives it a lovely visual calmness. Only had it one day but it feels as it belongs and is part of the house already. Realise that this is a long message but if you wan't a good looking product (with what appears to be a sturdy lift top mechanism which is easy to operate) you can't go wrong with this product. Comes with an instructions book but nothing is marked or labeled so you have to really pay attention and measure the parts before you start building it . Nice piece of furniture. Goes really well together with the TV stand. Easy enough to put together. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because where the 2 middle shelves go, there are 3 vertical holes, to fit the shelf on (I’m assuming they are there should you wish to place the shelf higher or lower), and once the shelves are fitted, the 2 holes not used can be seen… some extra brown stubs to cover those holes would’ve made it look much better. Still, I minor thing that might put some off, but altogether I am very happy with my Lanham Bookcase. Also, professional and friendly delivery man. Another great experience buying from Wayfair. I recently bought the Union Rustic Franny 2 Drawer Filing Cabinet and I’m really pleased with how it’s improved my home office organisation. Compact but spacious: The cabinet is a great size at about 40 cm (depth) × 42 cm (width) × 70 cm (height) that big enough to store plenty of files, stationery, and even a printer on top without taking up too much floor space. - Smooth mobility: It comes with 360° swivel wheels (two lockable) which makes it easy to move around and keep firmly in place next to my desk. - Functional drawer design: Both drawers are roomy, and the adjustable hanging rails fit standard A4 or letter-size folders, making it simple to organise documents neatly. - Modern look: The clean finish and sleek lines fit well with my contemporary decor and blend in nicely with other furniture. - The cabinet was straightforward to assemble with clear instructions. Once put together, it feels sturdy and practical for daily use. - The materials (manufactured wood and metal handles) are good for the price point, but obviously not premium solid wood that’s expected given the value. - It’s lightweight, which is great for moving around, but you might want to ensure heavier items on top are secure if bumped.
