At 1.8m it allows you to grow a wide range of vegetables and has the added advantage of being on legs and raised off the ground so there is no need to bend down for planting and harvesting.

This planter is lovely and big, wood has to be right way to fit bottom in . Screws provided and instructions say screw 6x screws in bottom. Manage to screw 2x and n middle but s wood is far too thick for screw in corner.. Sharon. Liskeard, GB. Wed Apr 15 2026

Excellent plant pot and good value for money but do not buy if you wish to have it as an indoor pot as it has a drainage hole - unfortunately, I had to return the item as it did not fit in with my other plant pots in the same room - but I have to say it is a lovely giant plant pot. The Darwin Elevated Garden Bed turns dreams of homegrown herbs and veggies into a flourishing reality. An innovative self-watering and draining system is coupled with Keter's unique water-level indicator to ensure plants stay perfectly hydrated. Elevated ergonomics allow for comfortable tending to the garden bed without crouching or bending, while the beautiful dual tone finish and embossed wood like textures blend into any garden, balcony, or rooftop.

This raised bed is well worth paying a little more for. It took about an hour and a half to assemble (32 screws) but the finished product is excellent quality. It is very sturdy, strong, fade proof, waterproof and has a modern colouring to blend into most gardens, it won't need painting or treating, and I found it a good height for me at 5 foot 5 inches. Once filled with soil it is also wind proof. You can plant about 15 lettuce comfortably, or more if you plant them closer still. The bonus for me which I was not aware of before ordering, is the water gauge. The gauge tells you when to water your plants, or if there is too much water in the bed, if it is flooded from rain there is a plug to release the excess water onto the ground below or into a watering can. Very impressed overall with the design, and it should last for years. Would buy again.. Ht. Herefordshire, GB. Wed May 13 2026

Useful for storage or as a planter this zinc tub is hardwearing, looks stylish, and can be used indoors or outside.

This super-strong, steel raised bed can be set up in any one of six shapes. The chic modular planter provides a modern and stylish take on galvanised trough planters. Made from extremely durable Zincalume® steel with Colourbond coating so it lasts up to four times longer than regular galvanised steel. Choose the shape that suits your needs: as a long, narrow bed, as a traditional square bed, or one of two rectangular shapes. At 38-39cm high (bed height may vary +/-50mm), it’s suitable for all types of vegetables, herbs and flowers and minimises bending and stooping when you’re planting or weeding. We recommend placing the bottom edge of the bed in a layer of 10-20mm gravel. This allows excellent drainage and protects the bottom edge of the bed. Placing on level ground is also advised. No liner is required. Flat packed for home assembly, the no-tools-assembly kit includes hardware plus plastic protective edging for the top edge.

Excellent service from Wayfair and brilliant product from Keter. This might be a longer review than I'd normally share but I'm hoping it will help someone. You can be the judge! So, my transaction with Wayfair was seemless and the item arrived within a few days, delivered by a courteous team of 3; 1 supervisor and 2 labourers. So, tip number one. Get the guys to lay the box down very close to where you want to assemble the shed. It's a very heavy box at 74kg so, even for two people, they need to be fit and strong and have long arms! The build quality of the Keter Premier Jumbo is really very good. Although the main panels are plastic, these are reinforced with metal bracing channels that contribute to making it a very strong structure. A few things to note that will pay dividends if you follow them. (I learned the hard way!). 1. Make sure that the area that you are going to be building the unit on is perfectly flat and level. Seriously, if it's out by a few millimetres, it could cause you issues in aligning panels etc. You could use slabs for the base but I went for a sand base, cellular grid and pea gravel to fill it up. 5bags of sharp sand and 10bags of gravel. 2. The instructions are completely graphic, are very good, but you do need to pay close attention to the drawings, especially when it comes to alignment of channels on plastic panels. There can be very slight differences in each end of the metalwork, so make sure you know which end is which! 3. It's definitely a two-person assembly for part of the work but a lot can be done by one person. I'd suggest breaking the 42 steps down into 'micro-kits'. In other words, before you start, lay out what's needed for each of the stages, so that you are not having to revisit the box several times. 4. It's easy to overtighten some of the screws that penetrate the plastic panels, if you are using a cordless screwdriver. If you are in doubt, stop before the last few turns and do them with a manual Phillips screwdriver. Once built, the unit is solid and the hydrogas struts that assist in lifting the lid are a classy finish. They make a nice 'swooshing' noise as they lift the lid and are a reassurance that the lid is not is not going to come down on your hand. Finally, I really enjoyed building this unit, along with my wife. Patience is the key. You may have to retrace your steps once or twice but the end result is a snug, watertight container that looks good too! (I've attached some pics to show the sequence and end result.). Mark.
