While I noticed a strong, unusual odor upon unboxing that clung to the pieces, the final product feels solid and high-quality. Assembly was a bit of a challenge; the instructions were unclear in sections, and the process took over four hours to complete. Visually, the dresser is beautiful, and its versatile design complements my bedroom decor perfectly. However, there are some functional drawbacks. I wish the six drawers were deeper to accommodate more clothing, and the 'push-to-open' mechanism is inconsistent, often making it a hassle to access my items. It took 2 1/2 to 3 hours to put together, and there were a couple parts that were difficult because of the angle of the drill holes, but other than that, it went together really easily. The drawers feel smooth, and I like the leather accents on the handles. The drawers are a little smaller than I was expecting but for a decorative dresser I think this is just fine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dresser is much better than I was expecting. The design is bohemian and clean. Material is solid and sturdy. Dresser capacity is larger than anticipated. Drawers pull out smoothly and i am surprised how much i liked the handles. The assembly was simple to follow. The pieces were all labeled clearly (even the screws), so there was no question on what each step includes. Assembly did take a few hours but not due to frustration.
