Excellent cabinet for the price. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the finished result looks great. The only minor downside is the surface finish. For most people it will be perfectly fine, but more demanding customers or perfectionists may want to do some additional finishing themselves. The item came well packaged and all the parts were all in order, even having spares. There could be a re-think on the steps of construction, as I followed them to the letter, but found, for example that the screw-in bolts on section 1 were a bit of a hinderance while putting the screws in with the allen key. Also I found it easier to put in the feet before putting the base board on. These are just very minor niggles, and I am really happy with the unit, so much so, that I will be ordering another one and replace the much inferior one I bought from Argos (on the right of the picture). There's loads of room to get your CD's in and out (unlike the one from Argos where there's no room to get your finger in to take a CD out, and you have to leave a gap so that the CD's don't get stuck!!). It's really sturdy, and with the base being wide I found that I didn't have to use the restraining straps that attach to the wall (although my floor is concrete, so there's no give when walking next to it like there would be on a wooden floor).. CD rack itself is fine, looks good, sturdy enough, a firmer ‘close’ mechanism for the glass door would be good as it isn’t particularly strong and doesn’t take much at all for it to swing open. Instructions on assembly aren’t great, there’s a lot happening on one diagram and it’s not clear as to the order steps should be completed in but I figured it out and I’m not great at this stuff it’s not too complicated to work out.. I agree that assembling the wardrobe requires two people, but saying it takes just two hours is simply not true. First, there are zero labels on the parts or packaging—it’s like a guessing game If someone isn’t experienced with DIY, they’ll never manage to put it together. Second, the decorative trims for the doors should be packaged in separate bags for each piece, as ours arrived all scratched up… P.S.
