This has been designed with a pull out desk, a 3 drawer chest and shelving unit for books etc. The product also takes a standard UK single mattress (90cm x 190cm).

Great value but bunk could be a little more sturdy. Takes quite a while to put together but a lot of furniture so to be expected I guess. 1 man delivery for an item delivered in many boxes clearly marked 2 man lift - dont expect delivery any further than driveway if in a house. This loft bed is an extremely clever and practical piece of children's furniture that offers incredible functionality and great value for money. This collection's compact footprint is supported by a robust, solid pine framed construction and offers numerous useful features from a handy pull-out desk to ample shelving and cupboard space.

There’s a few things I’d like to draw your attention to about this bed. Firstly it say estimated time to build is 1.5 hours. Possibly if you have a pit crew. Failing that, it’s going to take quite a bit longer. The quality is good, but what is a massive shame is there’s almost no pre drilled holes. So when you hammer in nails or use screws straight into the wood it splits and you’re immediately damaging your brand new bed! It took me a while to notice that this was happening and I’m gutted about these blemishes. I decided the best way forward was to use a tiny drill to make my own holes and that worked a treat. Just be careful not to go too far, which of course the one time I did was on the top of the desk, so now there’s an annoying hole on my son’s brand new desk. So I’m suggesting to the manufacturer, please pre drill the holes!! Overall I am happy with the quality, just gutted it’s damaged from the start which could be avoided. My son absolutely loves it. My child loves it, especially the chair bed but the desk corner came damaged and broken/chipped out of the box and it’s too late to ask for a new desk, as we didn’t assemble straight away due to room being refurbished, so likely past replacement. I bought this bed for my 17year old grandson and he’s really pleased with this bed. He says it’s very comfortable although the ladder is hard work getting up to the bunk! It’s left enough space in his tiny room for a desk which he didn’t have room for before and his hifi also fits underneath the bunk… win win! My only complaint is the delivery which was left outside my flat leaning up the wall near my front door! No one knocked even though I was home all day and I had to struggle to get it into my hallway on my own, I’m a 61 year old woman with a severe sight impairment and it almost gave me a hernia! Looks very smart in my son's bedroom. My daughter wants one now. Everything is very neat with a hiding place or toy storage behind. Great for small rooms! The reason I have only given it 4 stars is due to the scratch marks and flaws in the paint work of the wood which is not what your expecting after paying £500 for the bed but after taking it all out of the box we weren't going to send it back then after my 7 year old boy has been waiting for it to be delivered. Also, there is a gap between all of the drawers which runs down both sides and this gap is not equal but it doesn't affect the opening and closing of the drawers. However, my son loves his new bed!!. Our son loves his bed, and it genuinely seems to be a solidly made bed with tons of desk top, shelves and drawer space. That said, it is a bear to put together. At some points three people were needed, and the instructions, while likely as clear as they could be, were still difficult to follow at times, especially at the beginning.
