This has been designed with a pull out desk, a 3 drawer chest and shelving unit for books etc. The product also takes a standard UK single mattress (90cm x 190cm).

Great value but bunk could be a little more sturdy. Takes quite a while to put together but a lot of furniture so to be expected I guess. 1 man delivery for an item delivered in many boxes clearly marked 2 man lift - dont expect delivery any further than driveway if in a house. I love this I don't know why people are saying the material is bad. I think they only say the because the person who assembled it for them was horrible at it. It is a lovely looking bed and rather sturdy. Putting together was ok, a couple of bits were confusing, but worked it out in the end. Instructions at first looked daunting, but once I got started it wasn’t too bad. You can’t use an electric screwdriver on most of it, so a bit of muscle power is needed, as some places where the screw goes in doesn’t have hole , which did confuse me, but it all turned out good. This raised bed is well worth paying a little more for. It took about an hour and a half to assemble (32 screws) but the finished product is excellent quality. It is very sturdy, strong, fade proof, waterproof and has a modern colouring to blend into most gardens, it won't need painting or treating, and I found it a good height for me at 5 foot 5 inches. Once filled with soil it is also wind proof. You can plant about 15 lettuce comfortably, or more if you plant them closer still. The bonus for me which I was not aware of before ordering, is the water gauge. The gauge tells you when to water your plants, or if there is too much water in the bed, if it is flooded from rain there is a plug to release the excess water onto the ground below or into a watering can. Looks very smart in my son's bedroom. My daughter wants one now. Everything is very neat with a hiding place or toy storage behind. Great for small rooms! The reason I have only given it 4 stars is due to the scratch marks and flaws in the paint work of the wood which is not what your expecting after paying £500 for the bed but after taking it all out of the box we weren't going to send it back then after my 7 year old boy has been waiting for it to be delivered. Also, there is a gap between all of the drawers which runs down both sides and this gap is not equal but it doesn't affect the opening and closing of the drawers. However, my son loves his new bed!!.
