Stood amongst the forest floor these three charming forest faires are passing secret whispers! We think these wonderful Ron make superb gifts. Made from resin, they are suitable for indoor or outdoor use but are fragile so be careful. The painted copper wings add a sense of art deco vintage class to the figurines. I have to say that the door is a lot smaller than I had imagined it would be, and there is no fittings supplied if you are looking to attach it to anything. Against a plat area is fine, and you could use some silicon to hold it in place, but as I decided to have mine outside, I rigged up a sticky backed hook at the back, and a wire across the bottom held by 2 screws that I attached to the tree that I placed it against. I'm happy enough with it for what it is, and it looks fine in it's final location!. Gordon. Glasgow, GB. Sun May 02 2021

Pixie Sat on Mushroom Thinking Outdoor Decorative Garden Statue! Bring some wonder into your home with this fantastic pixie by Anthony Fisher. What are Pixies? Pixies are mythical creatures of folklore, considered to be particularly concentrated in the high moorland areas around Devon and Cornwall, suggesting some Celtic origin for the belief and name. Akin to the Irish and Scottish Aos Sí, pixies are believed to inhabit ancient underground ancestor sites such as stone circles, barrows, dolmens, ringfort, or menhirs. In traditional regional lore, pixies are generally benign, mischievous, short of stature, and attractively childlike; they are fond of dancing and gather outdoors in huge numbers to dance or sometimes wrestle, through the night. In modern times they are usually depicted with pointed ears, and often wearing a green outfit and pointed hat, although traditional stories describe them wearing dirty ragged bundles of rags which they are happy to discard for gifts of new clothes. Sometimes their eyes are described as being pointed upwards at the temple ends. These, however, are Victorian-era conventions and not part of the older mythology.
