Works great for me, i wish the roof didn't have eyelet drainage holes for my use. but ill be covering them off (if you have it angled, the water should run off anyway; otherwise, it fills with pools of water on the roof). I built it is situ so didn’t need any help to move it into position otherwise you’d need at least two people to carry it. After experiencing one round of severe hail damage and suffering through another fall of my car being pelted by apples, I began the quest for a carport and landed on this Sunjoy model. I couldn't be happier. At 20 feet long, it covers my entire Q7, and the width was perfect for my parking space. I can definitely open the car doors on both sides, and parking between the posts is no problem. Speaking of posts, our handyman built concrete bases for the posts because of the slope of the space. One other thing to know: in the blueprint on page 4, the distance from post to post is actually 227 inches (not 229.13 as stated in the book.) A beautiful, ornate garden arch with decorative metal trellis adorning the sides and a steeped, fleur de lys style apex. The metal squares in the side not only look stylish, but also provide support for climbing plants. Ground spikes are included for ease of siting. Coming flat packed and requiring home assembly (2 people are needed for this due to the size, and at least 45 minutes should be put aside for construction), the arch is made from painted metal and will age naturally when in place in the garden.
