I would probably have gone for a honey coloured pine if one had been available but the one thing I have worked out is that pine is not popular anymore and I wanted something to go with furniture I bought back in 2002. If I could have found something preassemled I would have but this was the best I could do under the circumstances. It is solid wood and a good price for what it is. It is also fairly easy to assemble. I am quite pleased with it now it’s up, but I was cursing in the middle of building it because some of the screws are at bit of an odd angle. Happy with how this turned out. Fine quality and looks like the pictures. One fixture, a big screw, was damaged and thankfully my handy dad adjusted with a hacksaw. where to start, the legs folded and broke out of the base went I put it on its feet , the whole wardrobe is not stable and will have to be screwed to wall to make more stable , apart from the door pattern which is nice , there is nothing to recommend this item , its a waste of money, please do not buy it ,you will only be disappointed..
