It took 2 1/2 to 3 hours to put together, and there were a couple parts that were difficult because of the angle of the drill holes, but other than that, it went together really easily. A really useful, versatile piece of furniture, which suited my needs exactly. I have awarded only 4 stars, as the shelf attaches to the frame with screws that appear to be too large, therby causing some uplifting of the shelf surface.
