Due to limited space, I needed to get rid of my current reading table and get a table that would be more space-saving. Most of the space-saving options that I saw during my searches, did not seem very durable. The few that seemed to fit the bill either had extremely long delivery times or were very expensive. I finally found this table after a very long search process, and it was stated that it would be delivered on the 29th of February. It was however delivered a day later than stated. The packaging also did not seem so secure, but the table was not damaged on delivery. On opening the parcel, the shelf/table parts seemed to be made of good quality wood and metal. However, because the shelf/table seemed very heavy, I was not really confident about hanging it on the wall using the fixings and screws supplied. I used more heavy-duty fixings to hang it up. Installation was a straightforward process. A step-by-step process for the installation was provided in the sheet in the package. There was also a code that you could scan with your phone, and it takes you directly to a video showing the process. Templates were even provided, to help you know where to mark and drill the wall. Overall, I am satisfied with the table as it seems like it would last for a long time. Looks nice in the picture, but the quality is off the mark. The assembly instructions are near useless with errors throughout. The self assemble instructions are incorrect, difficult to follow and parts are incorrectly identified. If you follow the instructions you'll end up scratching you head wondering where you went wrong and having to work out how to correct it. The Haefner secretary desk with hutch is a practical and particularly space-saving workspace. With its shallow depth, it ensures the best use of space, e.g. in a corridor. The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the Haefner.

Really like this desk. It does indeed take 2 people and a few hours to assemble, but it is cleverly designed to fit in a small space. If possible it'd be rated 4.5 because additional materials to bracket it to the wall are not included.
