I had this rug delivered to my office. I opened it there and HATED it. The brown color was very strongly mustard brown in person and the mustard brown was very dominant in the color palette. I was very disappointed. However, a coworker suggested I take it home and look at in my house lighting as opposed to the fluorescent lighting at work. It was a world of difference. Also, when I zoomed in on the online pic after it arrived, I realized the strong brown tones WERE in the picture, I just hadn't zoomed in when I looked at it. It is a good quality rug for the price. It is a thin rug so you could probably open a door over it but the pile is thick enough to make it feel soft under your feet. This rug has more navy and brown then grey. You get what you pay for. Rug is rolled up pretty tight when delivered, and it’s very thin, so the bumps are taking a while to flatten out. I had it upside down and put heavy pots on it to get the major curl at the edge of the rug out, and that seemed to help. But it didn’t work on all of the bumps. I’m hoping over time they settle. Also, the edges aren’t a straight line. However, this is all fine for me, as I put it in my high-traffic kitchen over a very thick, high-quality rug pad, for comfort. I replace the rug every 2-3 years, as they get stained and gross. So I chose inexpensive rugs, and expect them to be worth what I pay for.
