However, the finished article is well worth the trouble - it looks good, and you can store a formidable amount of clothing in it. Being a reasonably competent DIY individual, I ditched the grotty metal handles that came with the unit, and substituted nice-looking light oak ones instead. Result? Absolutely love this chest of drawers! I deliberated for about getting these for ages, and so glad I got them. I took my time with assembly to separate out all the bits and pieces and label them up, and highlighted the instructions where holes are etc so could be sure I had things around the right way.
