You can change the settings for different flame effects and different coloured lights, it's very easy to install, it provides decent heat, comes with remote control and love that you can also control it fully, using the app on your phone. Unfortunately the top of our fireplace had a very small bit of damage however doesn't affect its use in any way and Wayfair were quick in offering a resolution and we were offered a very reasonable partial refund to keep it, otherwise could have returned it, very happy with our purchase and with the service from Wayfair.
