It can be opened from the left or right side ensuring it will function perfectly for you. Just mount the gas lift mechanism on the side which suits you. The bed features hydraulic gas lift arms that raise the mattress base revealing vast amounts of storage space. The frame will remain upright once lifted to give you both hands free to remove or store items underneath. Supplied with a woven cloth that fits, you won't be storing items directly onto your bedroom floor the inside storage height is approx 25cm on all sizes, allowing the metal mattress frame to sit slightly below the level of the footboard and side rails. The bed takes a 4ft small double mattress{not included}. Upholstered in a velvet, stitched-lined headboard. Sprung wood slats stylish upholstered elegant grey velvet.
