The shower arrived beautifully packed, all the pieces held together by cord to prevent damage. The base is hinged so is simply opened flat. The body is in two parts and assembled by sturdy screws using a hex spanner provided. There is a standard hose attachment but I needed to use a brass connector as the plastic one was too thick to fit. I ended up purchasing the 11x7 Poppy greenhouse over the Memorial Day weekend, after reading a multitude of reviews. Based on those reviews I decided to give Backyard Discovery a chance. From delivery to final build I could not have been happier with the experience. As a DIYer, this was in my wheelhouse. What was most impressive was the build instructions, which were complimented by the online 3D app. The inventory list for each box was invaluable in saving time from having to look for the multitude of parts and hardware. To make the build easier, I set up a 6ft table in my garage and placed all of the hardware in plastic containers which were arranged numerically. This preparation will save an enormous amount of time searching for specific hardware. The quality of the cedar was very good, solid, and consistent. Throughout the build, the instructions actually had notes, in red, that were important “lookouts” so as not to make an error with regards to specific part orientation or sequence. As I worked my way through the build, the more impressed I became with the instructions and how I could tell that the folks responsible for the instructions were truly hands-on common sense engineers. My hat off to the company for their efforts in making these projects enjoyable along with providing a wonderful finished product…that appears to last. As with any quality build, if you do not ensure that the pad is level and the sidewalls are not square and level, you will not have an enjoyable experience. I bought this greenhouse last year and love it. It is my happy place. Went together quickly. We took 3 weeks to make sure it was sealed correctly (linseed mix), and it looks incredible. Love the features: the exhaust fan, folding table tops, water spigot, and the electrical plug-ins are awesome. We did the pounded gravel base and built it up from there. I use it every day and look forward to my time in the greenhouse. The company was easy to work with, shipping was quick, and the instructions were excellent.
