Both models also include important safety features such as a sturdy base to cope with any minor bumps, and an automatic tip-control which shuts off power completely if the heater is not upright. We raised ours off the ground with bricks (for more height) - otherwise it would have looked a bit unsubstantial and also any smoke would be blowing into people face level. Rewriting this review - the burner is of not-so-great quality. The metal started to rust after the first rain. It was also listed as 'clay,' which led me to believe the coating was a ceramic that should hold up to the weather, but it isn't. It is black powder coated steel.
